What the Hell does fairness have to do with anything?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ROS sent us this video from the Morning Joe program in which the hosts discuss what&#8217;s &#8220;fair&#8221; in the economy and leadership;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/98ijN1MERWE\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Is it government&#8217;s job to distribute &#8220;fairness&#8221; along with everything else it does? Since when is &#8220;fairness&#8221; anywhere in the Constitution? Will that family of four which makes over $250k a year think it&#8217;s fair when they start getting whacked with a huge tax bill? <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t see any of those people in Washington turning in any of their pay because they don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s fair that they make 100 times more than the taxi cab driver who wheels them from meeting-to-meeting.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not government&#8217;s job to create &#8220;fairness&#8221;. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights was written to protect us from our government. Every time the government writes a new regulation or law, someone somewhere is losing some of their rights and choices.<\/p>\n<p>Remember when Eliot Spitzer was ravaging investment companies for unfair trade practices in New York State several years ago? When he settled with those companies, do you think the investors who lost money because of those trade practices got the money that Spitzer got in their name? Nope, it went into NY&#8217;s coffers like pirate booty. How did that help the People?<\/p>\n<p>There is no fairness in the tax code. The government manipulates our lives with tax breaks and channels our existence into neat columns for what they think is good for us. How is that fair?<\/p>\n<p>The rich are just scapegoats and this babble about fair tax codes perpetuates class warfare. There&#8217;s nothing fair about taking money from one group to give to another group which had the same opportunities as the first group and that&#8217;s what equality and fairness is really about &#8211; everyone having the same opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>I choose my career and i do what I like to do, where I like to do it. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=22442\">Hallis Mailen <\/a>chose to be a smelly hippie and a holistic healer. It&#8217;s not my responsibility to maintain his fruitless lifestyle and his pear-shape because he made poor choices.
