MOBILIZATIONS SET FOR 32 COUNTRIES FOR JAN. 18<\/p>\n<p>The Mobilization against the U.S. war drive is gaining momentum around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands protested in Rabat, Morocco, and Los Angeles on an. 11. And in Germany, the traditional remembrance in Berlin of World ar I anti-war, communist leaders Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht included a protest march of 10,000 with its main slogans directed against U.S. plans to invade Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>As of Jan. 14, demonstrations have been scheduled in at least 32 countries in solidarity with the call from the<br \/>\nInternational ANSWER coalition-Act Now to Stop War &amp; End acism-for mid-January actions.<\/p>\n<p>As the Jan. 18 Washington, D.C., mass demonstration in Washington, D.C., approaches, ANSWER activists report that they have heard additional reports in the last 10 days from organizers from four countries in Asia, five in Latin America, five in Europe, and from South Africa, Canada and Australia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In fact, weeks after 9-11,  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.democracynow.org\/2001\/10\/15\/worldwide_protests_against_star_wars_and\" target=\"_blank\">ANSWER and their assorted communist groups marched in DC<\/a> against the impending war in Afghanistan. So what is ANSWER up to today? According to their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pephost.org\/site\/PageServer?pagename=ANSWERLA\" target=\"_blank\">ANSWERLA website<\/a>, they&#8217;re mobilizing against John McCain and Barack Obama;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Anti-War Protest At Presidential Forum in Orange County<br \/>\nMcCain &amp; Obama Will Both Be There: Let&#8217;s Tell Them &#8230;<br \/>\nU.S. Out of Iraq &amp; Afghanistan Now!<br \/>\nStop Threats Against Iran! They also held a banner that read \u201cJobs and Education, Yes! No Checkpoints!
