{"id":2234,"date":"2008-08-09T15:01:32","date_gmt":"2008-08-09T19:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=2234"},"modified":"2008-08-09T15:09:44","modified_gmt":"2008-08-09T19:09:44","slug":"dig-in-your-own-backyard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=2234","title":{"rendered":"Dig in your own backyard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Wall Street Journal&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wsj.com\/washwire\/2008\/08\/08\/liberal-group-will-pay-for-dirt-on-conservative-groups\/\" target=\"_blank\">Washington Wire <\/a>reports that a new Leftist advocacy group formed by a former MoveOn big banana is offering a <a href=\"http:\/\/cache.search.yahoo.net\/search\/cache?ei=UTF-8&amp;p=Accountable+America&amp;fr=ytff1-&amp;u=graphics8.nytimes.com\/packages\/pdf\/politics\/20080808caucus\/09caucus.accountableamericareward.pdf&amp;w=accountable+america&amp;d=JxiYtxg5RRF-&amp;icp=1&amp;.intl=us\" target=\"_blank\">$100,000 reward<\/a> for anyone who provides evidence of shenanigans committed by  conservative political groups;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> The liberal organization, Accountable America, was formed to combat conservative donors or organizations who run ads attacking the Democratic Party and its congressional candidates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re really operating on the assumption that they can remain in the shadows,\u201d Judd Legum, an adviser to the group. \u201cThat\u2019s one of the primary ways to accomplish what we\u2019re looking for. If you can shed some light on these organizations and the people who fund them, you\u2019ll end up with a better result.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The idea is to create a sense of scandal around the groups, said founder Tom Matzzie, recently a key leader of MoveOn.org. \u201cWe really want to ask these donors whether they want to be associated with some of these people,\u201d Matzzie said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wonder why there&#8217;s no group offering such a reward to catch Liberal groups? They&#8217;d go broke paying out rewards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/michellemalkin.com\/2008\/08\/08\/document-drop-the-accountable-america-warning-letter-targeting-gop-donors\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michelle Malkin<\/a> has the letter they mailed out to conservative donors warning them of Accountable AMericas plans to intimidate the folks who fund getting our views out.<\/p>\n<p>This sounds like another Soros-funded project that expects to never pay out a reward, but instead just casts an untoward shadow over conservatives in general.
