{"id":2227,"date":"2008-08-07T16:15:05","date_gmt":"2008-08-07T20:15:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=2227"},"modified":"2008-08-08T11:11:11","modified_gmt":"2008-08-08T15:11:11","slug":"fascist-military-court-gives-bin-laden-driver-sentence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=2227","title":{"rendered":"Fascist Military Court Gives Bin Laden Driver Sentence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Andy McCarthy gave a fairly good accounting of the <a href=\"http:\/\/corner.nationalreview.com\/post\/?q=YWFiZTRiN2FiZGEyZDUxNzMxMDY3OWU3NzEwZWFkNTU=\">morons from the NYT <\/a>in an article written to counter their Op-Ed that the military courts found this ass-wipe guilty because the McBushitler-Cheney cabal ordered them to.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Guilty &#8230; as ORDERED&#8221;?<br \/>\nNaturally, I would never suggest that the New York Times stoops to a predetermined editorial narrative with which it proceeds, and toward which it slants news coverage, without a care in the world about what facts actually happen.  But today&#8217;s &#8220;Guilty as Ordered&#8221; rant about the Hamdan military commission trial has to take the cake.  The first paragraph is so shamefully dishonest and misrepresentative of reality as to defy one&#8217;s necessarily low expectations of the Gray Lady:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNow that was a real nail-biter. The court designed by the White House and its Congressional enablers to guarantee convictions of high-profile detainees in Guant\u00e1namo Bay, Cuba \u2014 using evidence obtained by torture and secret evidence as desired \u2014 has held its first trial. It produced &#8230; a guilty verdict<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Today the military court announced the sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Times will no doubt cover the sentence with as much furor as it did the verdict.<\/p>\n<p>Was it death by hanging?  Nope.<br \/>\nLife in GITMO as a training aid for fascist interrogators?  Nope.<br \/>\nForty years of hard labor in a secret government prison?
