Old Trooper and 1stCavRVN11B sent us links to articles (Fox News<\/a> and Free Republic<\/a>)about Army veteran Korey Rowe, one of the producers for the “Loose Change” 9-11 conspiracy film who was arrested for selling drugs to an undercover cop in his hometown, Oneonta, NY;<\/p>\n

Oneonta police tell the Daily Star of Oneonta that 27-year-old Korey Rowe and a 19-year-old Bronx man were arrested after selling packets of heroin to an undercover officer.<\/p>\n

Rowe was arraigned last Friday on a felony count of criminal sale of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n

Authorities say the Oneonta resident was released from Otsego County Jail after posting $10,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n

According to Wikipedia<\/a>, Rowe went AWOL from his unit, 187 infantry Regiment at Fort Campbell. Wasn’t that Brandon Friedman’s (VoteVet’s Beeker) unit, too?<\/p>\n

On July 23, 2007, he was arrested at his home in Oneonta, New York, based on a military warrant charging him with felony desertion. Two days later he was returned to his unit at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, although he states that he received an honorable discharge and returned to uniform of his own accord, and that he is attempting to expunge his name completely from the system.<\/p>\n

Rowe was at the end of his active-duty enlistment in the summer of 2005 when he was told his unit would be re-deployed to Iraq. Because of stop-loss policy, soldiers may be kept beyond their normal tour of duty. Rowe’s unit, the 187th Infantry Regiment, was due to return to Iraq in August 2007, but was eventually granted release.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
