{"id":21974,"date":"2011-01-25T09:28:00","date_gmt":"2011-01-25T13:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=21974"},"modified":"2011-01-25T09:28:33","modified_gmt":"2011-01-25T13:28:33","slug":"no-link-between-manning-and-assange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=21974","title":{"rendered":"No link between Manning and Assange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/world\/richard-adams-blog\/2011\/jan\/25\/bradley-manning-julian-assange-wikileaks\">The Guardian<\/a> reports that an NBC correspondent is reporting that sources in the Pentagon are admitting that there&#8217;s no provable link between Bradley Manning and Wikileaks&#8217; Julian Assange;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Jim Miklaszewski, NBC News&#8217;s chief Pentagon correspondent, reported sources inside the US military as saying they could detect no contact between Manning and Assange.<\/p>\n<p>According to NBC News:<\/p>\n<p>    The officials say that while investigators have determined that Manning had allegedly unlawfully downloaded tens of thousands of documents onto his own computer and passed them to an unauthorized person, there is apparently no evidence he passed the files directly to Assange, or had any direct contact with the controversial WikiLeaks figure.<\/p>\n<p>If accurate, then US authorities have no realistic chance of successfully prosecuting or extraditing Assange for the leak of thousands of classified documents.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Do they realize how absolutely stupid that sounds?
