I&#8217;d seen it last night. It&#8217;s a guy at L&#8217;Enfant Plaza Metro station in DC on the south side of the Smithsonian museums who was reading a book while waiting for the subway train. He&#8217;s suddenly and without reason attacked by what he describes as pre-teens.<\/p>\n<p>The other children in the station just film the attack on their cell phones and laugh at the guy.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"333\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/Ebo1evnF4TQ?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/Ebo1evnF4TQ?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>His <a href=\"http:\/\/unsuckdcmetro.blogspot.com\/2011\/01\/more-lenfant-violence.html\">brother writes<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He&#8217;s hoarse from yelling for help; no one came to his aid, though lots of people stood around and watched. He finally broke away and ran and pounded on the info kiosk and got the Metro attendant&#8217;s attention and got them to call 911.<\/p>\n<p>Metro police eventually showed up. I don&#8217;t know if the kids will be caught; the main ones ran off, while other &#8220;eyewitnesses&#8221; offered to sell him their video footage evidence before they too, disappeared.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I was mugged once in a DC Metro station (Brookland\/Catholic University station) by 5 teenage boys in much the same manner. When I got the station master&#8217;s attention and he reviewed the tape, he said it was my fault because I&#8217;d fought back and wouldn&#8217;t call the Metro cops. Now, you know why they won&#8217;t let anyone carry guns in DC &#8211; there&#8217;d be dead teenagers littering the streets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Old Trooper sent us this video.
