The word \u201cTeufelhunden\u201d is a combination of the German words for \u201cdevil\u201d and \u201cdogs,\u201d or \u201cTeufel\u201d and \u201cHunde.\u201d But the possessive form of \u201cTeufel\u201d is \u201cTeufels,\u201d and the plural of \u201cHund\u201d is \u201cHunde,\u201d not \u201cHunden,\u201d suggesting that whoever came up with the word wasn\u2019t a native German speaker.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Uh-oh.
