{"id":21308,"date":"2010-11-24T12:22:17","date_gmt":"2010-11-24T16:22:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=21308"},"modified":"2010-11-24T12:22:17","modified_gmt":"2010-11-24T16:22:17","slug":"vet-arrested-for-threatening-the-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=21308","title":{"rendered":"Vet arrested for threatening the President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Old Trooper sends a link to article in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesmokinggun.com\/documents\/stupid\/vet-77-busted-obama-death-threat\">The Smoking Gun<\/a> about the Secret Service arresting a 77-year-old veteran from South Carolina for threatening to shoot the President to his nurse at the local VA<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230;\u201c[Michael Bowden] was thinking of traveling to Washington, DC, to shoot the President (Obama) because he is not doing enough to help African Americans,\u201d&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>During a search of Bowden&#8217;s home, the investigating agent found 3 handguns and a rifle and a shotgun by the door. Lightweight.<\/p>\n<p>But they recommended him for prosecution according to the affidavit submitted by the Secret Service agent. I&#8217;m pretty sure Bowden had no serious intentions toward accomplishing his dastardly deed. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m glad they investigated him, but do they really think it&#8217;s possible for him to even travel to DC and get within range of the President?
