{"id":211,"date":"2007-02-28T10:13:22","date_gmt":"2007-02-28T15:13:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/2007\/02\/28\/washington-posts-profits-fall\/"},"modified":"2007-02-28T10:13:22","modified_gmt":"2007-02-28T15:13:22","slug":"washington-posts-profits-fall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=211","title":{"rendered":"Washington Post&#8217;s profits fall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB117267071470022026.html?mod=home_whats_news_us\" target=\"_blank\">Wall Street Journal&#8217;s Josee Rose and Jonathan Vuocolo<\/a>, the Washington Post&#8217;s fourth quarter income fell nearly 7%;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"times\">The Washington-based publisher&#8217;s net income fell to $95.5 million, or $9.97 a share, from $102.4 million, or $10.65 a share, a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"times\">Results from the latest quarter included a charge of $3.30 a share for early-retirement buyouts among other items.
