{"id":20786,"date":"2010-10-09T08:01:58","date_gmt":"2010-10-09T12:01:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=20786"},"modified":"2010-10-09T08:01:58","modified_gmt":"2010-10-09T12:01:58","slug":"ivaws-bateman-on-operation-recovery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=20786","title":{"rendered":"IVAW&#8217;s Bateman on Operation Recovery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Someone sent us this video of IVAW&#8217;s Chantelle Bateman while she gets interviewed about the &#8220;Operation Recovery&#8221; protest the other day at Walter Reed<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"333\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/DyhhU3pnXqw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/DyhhU3pnXqw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Apparently there&#8217;s a &#8220;basic human right to heal&#8221;. But that&#8217;s a pretty abstract concept. I get the impression that we&#8217;re deploying soldiers with unhealed bullet holes and shrapnel in their bodies, But I&#8217;m pretty sure that&#8217;s not what they mean&#8230;the message isn&#8217;t clear. <\/p>\n<p>And what&#8217;s up with T-shirt? I know Chantelle went to Iraq with her reserve unit in Maryland (unlike most of IVAW members who haven&#8217;t set foot out of their hometowns except for basic training), so why does she need a shirt that says she knows someone who went to Afghanistan?
