Some folks over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/id\/25501924\">CNBC<\/a> put together a list of the top states for business.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Here are the ten categories ranked in our study:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Cost of Doing Business<br \/>\n&#8211; Workforce<br \/>\n&#8211; Economy<br \/>\n&#8211; Education<br \/>\n&#8211; Quality of Life<br \/>\n&#8211; Technology &#038; Innovation<br \/>\n&#8211; Transportation<br \/>\n&#8211; Cost of Living<br \/>\n&#8211; Business Friendliness<br \/>\n&#8211; Access to Capital<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Some of the criteria such as transportation and technology may have little impact on some businesses but I think it\u2019s fair to say that the \u201ccost of doing business\u201d and \u201ccost of living\u201d impact any business.<\/p>\n<p>The Top 10 in terms of Cost of doing business are:  Texas, Virginia, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, North Carolina, South Dakota, Georgia, Iowa and Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>The Top 10 in terms of cost of living are:  Tennessee, South Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, Georgia and Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>Do you see a pattern here?  Nine of the Top 10 \u201cCost of doing business\u201d states voted for George W. Bush in 2004. (Minnesota being the exception where John Kerry won by less than 100,000 votes.)<\/p>\n<p>All 10 \u201ccost of living\u201d states voted for George W.
