According to Associated Press<\/a>, the Capitol Police shot an armed man when they felt threatened by the unnamed gunman at about 5 am today. <\/p>\n

Sgt. Schneider said the officers opened fire after the man refused to drop his weapon and that officers fired because they were in “fear for their lives.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Readers at the Huffington Post<\/a> were obviously confused by the news thinking it’s a freakin’ game;

\nI always ask myself this “Why don’t the cops shoot the criminals in the leg, the arm, the hand for crying out loud!? is it that they can’t aim that good? MUST THEY ALWAYS KILL THE SUSPECT?”<\/p>\n
