{"id":20294,"date":"2010-08-28T09:03:44","date_gmt":"2010-08-28T13:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=20294"},"modified":"2010-08-28T11:15:56","modified_gmt":"2010-08-28T15:15:56","slug":"heavy-drop-phony-arrested-in-ak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=20294","title":{"rendered":"Heavy drop phony arrested in AK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/William-Clark-phony4.jpg\" alt=\"Heavy Drop Phony\" width=\"500\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure you remember <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=20049\">William Clark, the plus-sized phony captain<\/a> who is apparently running around Alaska telling his phony tales. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ktva.com\/oldlocal\/ci_15907788?source=rss\">Fairbanks PD has finally issued a warrant<\/a> for his arrest on gun charges;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Fairbanks police were called to the North Star Council on Aging Monday afternoon after Clark reportedly showed a pistol to the director of the facility, Julie McCumby, and claimed to be a military police officer.<\/p>\n<p>McCumby reportedly told police she believed Clark was mentally ill or an escapee from jail and that seniors were being moved out of the building and away from him, according to charging documents.<\/p>\n<p>When Fairbanks police officer Joshua Lambert contacted him, Clark, a heavyset man with a blond crewcut, was smoking a cigarette while talking on his cell phone.<\/p>\n<p>He had an empty handgun holster on his belt, and a loaded 9mm pistol was found in Clark&#8217;s car. The gun was placed in the trunk for the safety of the officers present but not confiscated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>After he was issued a citation for trespassing, Clark was released&#8230;it was after his release, FPD discovered he had warrants in five states.<\/p>\n<p>Clark was <a href=\"http:\/\/newsminer.com\/bookmark\/9309424\">apprehended late yesterday<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Shortly after the first story about Clark ran in Friday\u2019s News-Miner, a hunter who believed he talked with Clark on Tuesday notified Fairbanks police.<\/p>\n<p>The hunter met a man in military fatigues in the Wrangell Mountains who offered to help him go hunting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just struck him as bizarre,\u201d FPD Sgt. Eric Jewkes.<\/p>\n<p>The man in fatigues mentioned going to Deadhorse, and North Slope Borough police found Clark at the Prudhoe Bay Hotel on Friday afternoon.
