But, I also happen to know the two ladies that own the dog. They work at my favorite place to get a drink. It is a very Pro Service Member place and was always the first place I went to when I was on my mid-tour leaves and coming home. They have always been good to me so I wanted to return the favor. The park ranger who shot the dog is named Antonio Aguilar and was not punished at all. Furthermore, he is alleged to have pulled his gun on campers for playing their music too loud after this incident happened. So far the Travis County park service has not offered to cover the Vet bills.
