{"id":19541,"date":"2010-06-25T13:48:49","date_gmt":"2010-06-25T17:48:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=19541"},"modified":"2010-06-25T15:25:46","modified_gmt":"2010-06-25T19:25:46","slug":"vfp-calls-for-imeachment-of-obama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=19541","title":{"rendered":"VFP calls for impeachment of Obama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The organization known around these parts as Geezers For Sitting On Our Hands have decided to petition for the impeachment of the President. <strong>Warning: There are some pretty gruesome pictures in this video<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"333\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/NLajnGDGPd0&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/NLajnGDGPd0&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Of course, this is the group who still put &#8220;Impeach Nixon&#8221; stickers on their car.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/vets-for-peace-archives-007.jpg\" alt=\"Impeach Nixon\" width=\"495\" height=\"327\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s been a president other than Jimmy Carter they haven&#8217;t wanted to impeach. They also rely heavily on Smedley Butler&#8217;s image and quote that &#8220;War is a Racket&#8221; in the video. Butler has been dead since 1940, so I guess they want to impeach FDR, too. Who knows why they think that a guy who died seventy years ago would have anything useful to contribute to today&#8217;s discussion and would support impeaching the President.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, they just dust off the charges against Bush and try to make themselves seem relevant today.
