{"id":19510,"date":"2010-06-22T09:33:10","date_gmt":"2010-06-22T13:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=19510"},"modified":"2010-06-22T09:33:10","modified_gmt":"2010-06-22T13:33:10","slug":"ivaw-manning-is-heroic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=19510","title":{"rendered":"IVAW: Manning is heroic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sure you remember <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=19370\">Bradley Manning<\/a>, the Army specialist who released classified material to Wikileaks which included the video known by the biased title &#8220;Collateral Murder&#8221;. Well, IVAW, that band of veterans who pepper their ranks with a few combat veterans to give themselves some measure of credibility, has decided that  Manning is a hero for disseminating classified material;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>These videos and possibly more were reportedly leaked by SPC Bradley Manning. Manning worked as an intelligence analyst, and is currently under arrest in Kuwait. If true, Bradley&#8217;s actions are heroic and he deserves our support. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I guess pretty soon they&#8217;ll be praising <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2010\/jun\/21\/times-square-car-bomb-suspect-pleads-guilty\/\">Faisal Shahzad for his attempt to bomb Times Square<\/a>. Or BP for robbing us of material resources to fight the war. I don&#8217;t see any IVAW members trumpeting for Stanley McCrystal or his staff for saying the same things about the Administration that they&#8217;ve said.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, calling Manning a hero is right up there with burning the flag.
