That early morning subtle roar that Eric Holder is hearing draw nearer just might the powerful Obama Bus.<\/p>\n

The Washington Examiner <\/a>is reporting this morning that the embattled Attorney General is dodging Senate hearings.<\/p>\n

Attorney General Eric Holder was scheduled to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee today. But less than 24 hours before the appearance, committee Democrats sent out word that Holder’s long-awaited testimony has been rescheduled for April 14, after the Easter recess.<\/p>\n

Why? Word is that it’s because of the signing ceremony for the national health care bill, but well-informed Republicans suspect the occasion may also have given Democrats an opportunity to put off what could turn into another embarrassing performance by the attorney general.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There are lots of reasons to fire this devout leftist from the New Black Panther Party case to the KSM NYC trial to reading Miranda rights to a corpse but this time he stepped over the line.<\/p>\n

At the height of the KSM trial debate the favorite talking point of the left was that over 300 terrorists have been tried and convicted in federal courts and therefore military commissions were unnecessary.<\/p>\n

Well, as many suspected <\/a>all along, that was a big damn lie.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the specific question and response on pages 32-33 of the submission:<\/p>\n

30. In your opening testimony, you stated that \u201cthere are more than 300 convicted international and domestic terrorists currently in Bureau of Prisons custody.\u201d In response to my question, you stated without reservation that you would provide the details regarding these convictions.<\/p>\n

Please provide the details regarding each of these convictions, including: (a) the names and dates of the individuals convicted; (b) the offense(s) with which they were charged; (c) the offense(s) for which they were convicted; (d) the sentences imposed; and (e) the year the criminal case was instituted via indictment.<\/p>\n

Response: The Department is working to develop information responsive to this request and will advise the Committee when it becomes available.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In layman terms here\u2019s how this Q&A went down:<\/p>\n

Senate Judiciary Committee (SJC): You said that the DOJ has convicted over 300 terrorists. Name them.<\/p>\n

DOJ lawyers: Ummm, 300? Who said anything about 300?<\/p>\n

SJC: Your boss did before this committee you imbecile.<\/p>\n

DOJ: Well we\u2019re trying, that is to say attempting to review the documentation that was the source of that number.<\/p>\n

SJC: Okay, is it fair to say that given Mr. Holder\u2019s testimony before this committee with such confidence that he is aware of where the source documents might be?<\/p>\n

DOJ: Yes that seems likely.<\/p>\n

SJC: Then why don\u2019t you look deep up his ass! Because it seems fairly evident that that is where the number came from!<\/p>\n
