I will freely admit I have not seen the videos, but have driven through and stopped in New Jersey many times when I was (unfortunately) a Maryland resident. I would have to say that based on what I saw forty plus years ago, he’s several decades late to the party. Recently Crockett is said to have thrown a writer for the Atlantic, Elaine Godfrey, off the campaign trail.<\/div>\n

She said she had spent about an hour at the Lubbock rally for Crockett\u2019s Senate campaign before being approached by a woman with a badge after joining other reporters.<\/p>\n
“‘Are you Elaine?’ she asked. I recognized her from the entrance of the event, where I had identified myself as she\u2019d waved me into the building\u2019s press area. Yes, I answered. ‘Her team has asked you to leave,’ she said. When I asked why, the staffer looked at her phone and read dutifully: \u2018They just said, “Elaine from Atlantic, white girl with a hat and notepad. She\u2019s interviewing people in the crowd. She\u2019s a top-notch hater and will spin. She needs to leave,”\u2019” Godfrey wrote.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Given that the Atlantic is considered pretty left-wing, this bodes poorly for how well Crockett takes criticism. And don’t you just love the description – wonder if someone described Crockett as a “mouthy Black woman” how she would take it. Oh, and she also sayts she has successfully sued Godfry, who swears THAT never happened.<\/p>\n
