‘Predator Poachers’ comes to Deep East Texas: Man, 57, charged after citizen group’s tip<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA 59-year-old Livingston man was arrested Saturday following an investigation into suspected child exploitation.<\/p>\n

According to the Livingston Police Department, officers were contacted by a group of private citizens who reported communicating online with an individual who intended to meet with a child.<\/p>\n

Investigators were provided digital evidence by the group Predator Poachers related to the communication, which led officers to identify the suspect as David Burks of Livingston.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, police say Burks was found to be in possession of multiple digital files depicting child sexual abuse material.<\/p>\n

Predator Poachers posted an extensive interview with Burks on its Facebook page where Burks claimed he thought the girl he was communicating with on TikTok was 18.<\/p>\n

There was no such child on the other end of Burks’ alleged digital communiques.<\/p>\n

He was arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Child Pornography.<\/p>\n

Authorities say additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“Predator Poachers” is a Houston based group conducting on-line sting ops targeting sexual predators as the name implies. Mr. Burk is in for such an unhappy time as a chomo in prison.<\/p>\n
