So this reporter from the Santa Fe Reporter by the name of Corey Pein sent me two of his articles on Kokesh and his Congressional campaign in New Mexico. Me? I’m tired of writing and reading about Kokesh, honestly. And readership interest is falling on the subject – but every time I try to get out they pull me back in. Take this tongue bath;<\/p>\n

Meet the new face of the Republican Party in northern New Mexico.<\/p>\n

The face is engraved on a silver coin that is available for a $50 donation, but worth approximately $15 melted down.<\/p>\n

The face is smiling. The face has a neatly trimmed beard. The face belongs to a man wearing a necktie. He stands beneath the Statue of Liberty. His rolled-up shirtsleeves reveal tattoos on each forearm. One says USMC. The other says IVAW, which stands for Iraq Veterans Against the War.<\/p>\n

The arms hoist a banner that says \u201cR3VOLution.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Funny, but everytime I think of Kokesh’s face, I remember the day I took these pictures of him less than two years ago;<\/p>\n

In another interview Pein asks<\/a> Kokesh;<\/p>\n

Pein:<\/strong> I was talking to one of the Republicans in the Tea Party here, Sheryl Bohlander. I was saying, \u2018You know, I get this fiscal responsibility stuff, but where was the same amount of outrage during the Bush years?\u2019<\/p>\n

Kokesh: <\/strong>Right here [raises hand]. This is where it was.<\/p>\n

For me, seeing the first bailouts in September, October \u201808\u2026that was a pivotal thing for me, because I was studying the Federal Reserve, I had really just earlier that year got my head around the concept of the way the Federal Reserve actually works. I remember I was sitting at that group home we started for the IVAW in Washington, DC, I was watching on the news, and I turned to the guy next to me and went on this rant. I was like, \u2018Where did that come from?\u2019 I just felt everything crystallize for me.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Funny. Did it all crystallize for him after I took this picture of him being interviewed by Jimbo at the ANSWER-sponsored March on the Pentagon last March?<\/p>\n

Or when he carried an upside down flag in the Ron Paul rally on the Capitol West Lawn.<\/p>\n

Now, before I vote for a candidate, I have to know that they’re going to vote in my interests. Can you be sure that Adam Kokesh will vote in your interest?<\/p>\n

Funny, I agree with much of what Kokesh uses in his campaign – but I can’t get the images I took of Kokesh in Washington of of my head. Maybe Corey pein should be asking me what I know about Kokesk rather than sending me his interviews with Kokesh. I appreciate the courtesy, you’re extending, but ask me about the interviews I’ve done before Kokesh went back to New Mexico.<\/p>\n
