Road rage shooting in Seminole County ends in deadly crash, deputies say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014
\nA driver is dead after a road rage altercation turned into a violent shooting on Wednesday morning, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies said they arrived on scene around 1 a.m. at the 1700 block of Rutledge Road in unincorporated Longwood.<\/p>\n

The SCSO said two armed drivers became involved in an altercation, during which one of them fired into the other driver\u2019s vehicle, causing a crash.<\/p>\n

The injured driver died at the scene. He was identified as 51-year-old Manuel Alejandro Rosado of Longwood, according to deputies.<\/p>\n

Detectives indicated that the driver who died aimed his gun at the shooter first, causing the shooter to draw his weapon and fire multiple rounds in response.<\/p>\n

SCSO said the shooter immediately called 911 and remained on scene until deputies arrived. He was later detained for questioning.<\/p>\n

After questioning, the shooter was released under provisions of Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.<\/p>\n

At this time, no charges have been filed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
