Commentary Magazine has an amazing piece up about a recent interview that Nancy Pelosi did with the San Francisco Chronicle.<\/p>\n
Regarding her recent trip to Iraq, she was asked if she had seen any evidence that the \u201cSurge\u201d was working. Of course only a complete moron can\u2019t see the significant improvements but wait until you see who Pelosi gives the credit to!<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Maliki? Nope. General Patraeus? Nope.<\/p>\n

Well, the purpose of the surge was to provide a secure space, a time for the political change to occur to accomplish the reconciliation. That didn\u2019t happen. Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn\u2019t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The \u201cGoodwill of the Iranians\u201d!!!!!<\/p>\n
I think it\u2019s time for a swig from the little brown jug of reality for San Fran Nan.<\/p>\n
The Iranians are killing our troops you idiotic dolt! The cease-fire in Basra supposedly negotiated by the Iranians collapsed like a card table. That was when Maliki and the IA went in and kicked their asses. No Iranian \u201cnegotiations\u201d brought peace to Basra. It was the sustained targeting and killing of Iranian backed terrorists. Ms. Pelosi, you need to understand that a dead Tango is a significantly less threat than a live one.<\/p>\n
The Iranians have done nothing less than propagate the violence all over the Middle East you miserable surrender monkey!<\/p>\n
Assuming the \u201cSurge\u201d was in place in June of last year; 605 Americans have died to make this work. No mention of their sacrifice by Speaker Pelosi. Also missing is the fact a vast majority of these were killed by IRAN! <\/p>\n
This is beyond pathetic Ms. Pelosi. I know you hate President Bush but you now have demonstrated how much you loathe America. <\/p>\n
