Fargo man charged in federal court with threatening President Trump<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nFARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man was charged in federal court Wednesday with making threats against President Donald Trump and law enforcement officers through social media posts and his personal website.<\/p>\n

Andrew Walter Sandvik, who lives in a camper on his mother\u2019s property, faces one count of influencing a federal official by threat, a federal offense. The charge stems from online posts made between August and October 2025.<\/p>\n

The FBI investigation began September 4 when a Fargo Police detective notified federal agents about concerning posts on Sandvik\u2019s Facebook page and personal website. The posts contained threats directed at the President and local police officers.<\/p>\n

Court documents show Sandvik posted threats against West Fargo and Fargo police on Aug. 31, writing that \u201cTHUNDER ROAD WAS MADE INTO A LIVING CREATURE TO SHRED YOU IN WAYS THE UNIVERSE HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE.\u201d<\/p>\n

A witness who knew Sandvik personally reported concerns about potential bomb materials after seeing a Sept. 1 Facebook post showing cinder blocks with bottles and \u201cDanger\u201d warnings.<\/p>\n

A Special Agent with the FBI said in court documents that Sandvik\u2019s online threats became more direct and violent over time. On September 17, he posted multiple messages targeting federal agencies.<\/p>\n

\u201cSECRET SERVICE IT IS NO SECRET I AM YOUR BIGGEST THREAT YOU BETTER GET HERE FAST,\u201d one post said, according to court records.<\/p>\n

The most serious threat came on October 18 in a post titled \u201cTrump, Can You Feel My Footsteps Coming?\u201d Court documents show Sandvik wrote: \u201cDeath is now marching towards the failed and weak Donald Trump\u201d and \u201cDEATH OF TRUMP.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
