Attorney General Pam Bondi – all here know that I am not a fan – or wasn’t – until today.<\/p>\n
Bondi was at a Senate Judiciary meeting Tuesday about the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.<\/p>\n
During a Senate Judiciary hearing on Tuesday, Blumenthal confronted Bondi in his questioning ABOUT a \u201cpretty intimate\u201d image of the Trump Cabinet having dinner together the night before Comey\u2019s indictment was made public.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Danang Dick was pushing Bondi pretty hard about whether Comey was discussed at the dinner in question, clearly trying to make it look like a secret cabal was conspiring against the legitimate government.<\/p>\n
Clearly angered, Bondi replied by speaking over Blumenthal: \u201cThere were a lot of people there that night. That\u2019s a great picture. I love that picture. That\u2019s a great picture. And there were a lot of people there that night. I think the entire Cabinet was there.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not going to discuss any conversations I\u2019ve had or not have with the president of the United States,\u201d she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Blumenthal said he was championing “reform” to fight DOJ weaponization and asked her to join him.<\/p>\n
Bondi challenged his record: \u201cSenator Blumenthal, I find it so interesting that you didn\u2019t bring any of this up during President [Joe] Biden\u2019s<\/strong> administration, when he was doing everything to protect Hunter Biden<\/strong>, his son. And I think you just saw what [CIA] Director Ratcliffe just released.\u201dMediaite<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
She was, of course, referring to the news that Joe Biden personally quashed a prejudicial CIA report on Ukraine, Burisma, and of course Hunter.<\/p>\n
\nJoe Biden<\/span> quashed the release of a CIA memo indicating concerns over his family’s allegedly corrupt business ties to Ukraine, it emerged today.<\/p>\n
CIA director John Ratcliffe declassified a stunning memo on Wednesday after a review of historical records from Biden’s tenure as vice-president.<\/p>\n
At the time Biden was overseeing the administration’s political relationship with Ukraine, Hunter was\u00a0appointed to the board of a major Ukrainian energy company, which reportedly resulted in the younger Biden profiting handsomely.<\/span><\/p>\n
The memo adds: ‘These (Ukrainian – ed.) officials viewed the alleged ties of the US Vice President’s family to corruption in Ukraine as evidence of a double-standard within the United States Government towards matters of corruption and political power.’\u00a0 Daily Mail<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Blumenthal, who went into the Reserves after 5 deferments, used to refer to himself as a Vietnam vet, though even\u00a0 Jane Fonda had spent more time there.<\/p>\n
\nAs the senator tried to interject, the attorney general said: \u201cI\u2019m not going to yell over you. I\u2019m not going to get in the gutter with you. But information that the Biden administration told them not to investigate \u2013 Hunter Biden\u2019s involvement with Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n
“I’m not going to be lectured to you about integrity by someone who lied about being in the military just to be elected as senator,\u201d she added, leaving Blumenthal in stunned silence for several seconds.Mediaite<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Somehow I don’t think Dick’s adding her<\/em> to his Christmas card list.<\/p>\n
