A shooter took aim at an ICE facility, resulting in one dead and two injured. The sniper was found dead on the roof and two detainees were injured. Dallas authorities are still investigating this event.<\/p>\n

Sources confirmed that one shooter was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office.<\/p>\n

Two detainees were killed in the shooting, police sources said. One person was injured, sources said. More details were not immediately available.<\/p>\n

There is still a massive police presence at the scene. The Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed dozens of police and emergency vehicles along the access road off I-35E.<\/p>\n

Parts of I-35E were shut down in both directions while officials responded to the scene, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n

In a statement, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem confirmed there was a shooting at a Dallas ICE facility.<\/p>\n

“Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities,” Noem said. “The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
