This rich guy\u2019s got some poor form!<\/p>\n

The \u201centitled\u201d jerk who seemingly snatched a hat autographed by tennis star Kamil Majchrzak from a young boy at the US Open has been identified as Polish millionaire Piotr Szczerek.<\/p>\n

Majchrzak, fresh off his victory over ninth seed Karen Khachanov when the incident unfolded Thursday night, confirmed Szczerek\u2019s identity to The Post on Saturday and said he was initially oblivious to the now-viral snafu.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously it was some kind of confusion,\u201d the tennis pro said, adding that Szczerek sponsors his tennis federation in Poland.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was pointing, giving the hat, but I had a lot going on after my match, after being super-tired and super-excited for the win. I just missed it. I had like a dead look, if you know what I mean. I\u2019m sure the guy was also acting in the moment of heat, in the moment of emotions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Szczerek, CEO of paving company Drogbruk, was allegedly caught on the live broadcast Thursday night apparently snatching the prized memento from young fan Brock\u2019s hands after Majchrzak, also Polish, appeared to be gifting it to the child while signing autographs courtside.<\/p>\n

The businessman \u2014 who was seen placing the prized hat into his wife\u2019s bag as the devastated young fan protested \u2014 has since deactivated his social media accounts after the incident sparked widespread fury, Spanish outlet MARCA reported.<\/p>\n

Szczerek\u2019s countrymen swiftly blasted him on a Polish job search site as a \u201csack of garbage,\u201d \u201ccommon thief,\u201d \u201cprimitive scammer\u201d and \u201cshameful jerk.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly an ordinary idiot and a jerk could snatch a hat from a child\u2019s hands,\u201d wrote one Gowork.pl user. \u201cYou can\u2019t buy class,\u201d offered another critic.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the company\u2019s president so unscrupulously stole a child\u2019s hat, if I were a customer, I would no longer use his services,\u201d chimed in another. \u201cI\u2019d be afraid he\u2019d steal from me too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The millionaire has since attempted to make amends with the cheated fan and his family, according to Majchrzak.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe also wanted to make things right, so I gave him the credentials for Brock\u2019s mom on the same social media I was using to contact her,\u201d Majchrzak said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, maybe he can make things right himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Szczerek \u2014 an amateur competitive tennis player in Poland \u2014 and was introduced to the sport by his racket-swinging wife, Anna, according to Polish outlet Tenis Magazyn.<\/p>\n

At their tony home in Kalisz, Poland, the Szcereks boast a private tennis court where they once hosted Polish legend Urszula Radwanska.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was the most wonderful gift of my life. Our employees came up with the idea, and my husband helped them implement it,\u201d Anna Szcerek told the outlet, adding it was her birthday gift.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have two sons, also play competitive doubles tennis together \u2014 but Piotr Szczerek\u2019s prowess has propelled him to the second division of the Kalisz Tennis Association, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

The doting pair in 1999 co-founded Drogbruck, described by the outlet as a leader in the industry.<\/p>\n

In an interview, he noted that the paving industry was thriving in his country at the time, prompting him and his wife to establish a business in their hometown.<\/p>\n

The company reportedly sponsors local sports programs and supports Polish tennis players, including Piotr Matuszewski.<\/p>\n

Szczerek could not be reached for comment, and emails sent to his company were not immediately returned.<\/p>\n

But what began as an ugly incident ended on a brighter note for the slighted boy, when Majchrzak used the \u201cpower of the internet\u201d to track him down and gifted him a signed cap, along with other keepsakes.<\/p>\n

A video posted Saturday to Majchrzak\u2019s Instagram Stories shows him reuniting with the overjoyed young fan, who he said is named Brock, and his family \u2014 showering him with gifts, snapping photos, and warmly chatting with them.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday after warm up I had a nice meeting,\u201d the tennis star wrote with a raised-hands emoji, followed by, \u201cDo you recognize?\u201d and a hat emoji.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Brock beamed as he placed the hat on his head, proudly showing it off to someone who appeared to be his mother.<\/p>\n

Majchrzak then shared a photo of himself with the young boy, who was proudly wearing the prized possession.<\/p>\n

Angry Phillies fan slammed for snatching home run ball from young boy after she chased down his dad<\/h3>\n

Now we got a Karen (it has not been conclusively proven to my satisfaction that it was not Elizabeth Warren) stealing a ball from a kid.<\/p>\n

An angry Phillies fan sparked outrage after she was captured bullying a father into handing over a home run ball that he had given to his young son, who was celebrating his birthday.<\/p>\n

The heated confrontation unfolded on camera as Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader launched a home run into the left field seats during Friday\u2019s game against the Marlins at LoanDepot Park<\/p>\n

At least six fans raced into an empty row of the blue seats to try and snatch the ball before the father, wearing a red Phillies t-shirt, sprinted to the area and secured the prized souvenir.<\/p>\n

The dad then walked back to where his family was sitting, approximately five seats away, and handed the ball to his ecstatic son, identified by the Phillies as Lincoln.<\/p>\n

But a gray-haired Phillies fan, who failed to grab the ball in front of her seat, was not going to let the moment slip through her fingers.<\/p>\n

Seconds after the father gave his son the ball, the woman grabbed the startled father\u2019s shoulder and berated him over to stake a claim to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou took it from me. It was in my hand,\u201d the woman claimed, according to fan-recorded footage.<\/p>\n

The two fans exchanged some words as both pointed to where the ball was picked up.<\/p>\n

After a few seconds of a verbal dispute, the father shockingly grabbed the ball from his son\u2019s glove and handed it over to the woman, who furiously returned to her seat.<\/p>\n

Lincoln, however, received support from the Phillies and Marlins following the unfortunate encounter.<\/p>\n

A Marlins representative apologized and gifted the boy a prize pack, which consisted of various gifts, including baseballs for him and his sister, who was seated next to him during the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe brought you a cool little goodie bag,\u201d the representative told Lincoln as she handed him a plastic bag with lots of gifts inside, according to a video posted on X.<\/p>\n

The crowd cheered as the representative continued to apologize to Lincoln.<\/p>\n

After the game, Bader invited Lincoln to meet up, where he gifted the fan with a signed bat and the team revealed that it was the boy\u2019s birthday on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing home with a signed bat from Bader,\u201d the Phillies wrote on X, showing photos of Bader signing a bat for Lincoln.<\/p>\n

The unexpected fan fight caused a flood of social media users to show support for Lincoln.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery well done! Shame on that fan for her arrogance and selfishness,\u201d one fan wrote on social media. \u201cThe kid was happy with just getting a baseball and she had to make it all about herself and cause a scene. Glad the Phillies and Marlins stepped up and handled this with class.<\/p>\n

Others applauded both teams for going the extra mile to make Lincoln smile after the stunning situation on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

WA Police officers jobs on line after depravity at staff party ended in sexual assault and public indecency<\/h3>\n

Two police officers are fighting for their jobs and one is receiving counselling after a booze-soaked staff party ended with a sexual assault and a vile act of public indecency.<\/p>\n

Senior officers have been left shaking their heads at the depravity at the recent function for cops at a metropolitan station.<\/p>\n

Internal affairs investigators are probing two separate scandals at a city bar where the officers had gathered.<\/p>\n

The first, and most concerning incident, involved two randy junior male officers who slunk off from the party and ended up in a drunken tryst.<\/p>\n

One of the men performed oral sex on the other. During that act he digitally penetrated the colleague he was pleasuring.<\/p>\n

That uninvited move shocked the recipient.<\/p>\n

It is not known whether he continued to enjoy the other service his work mate was offering but the aggrieved cop later went home and told his wife about the incident.<\/p>\n

The pair discussed the matter and decided that while the oral sex was consensual, the penetration was not.<\/p>\n

They both presented at a police station to lodge a complaint, insisting it be treated as a criminal matter.<\/p>\n

Senior police at the station in question sent out an email to all officers at the precinct, explaining that an internal investigation had been launched into an incident at the staff function.<\/p>\n

Staff were told the bar had extensive CCTV coverage.<\/p>\n

That email triggered a response that came out of left field.<\/p>\n

A male officer, who was completely unconnected to the pub sex incident at the centre of the internal inquiry, came forward to his seniors with an admission about a separate act of indecency on the night.<\/p>\n

He had assumed the email sent out referred to the fact that he had secretly pressed his penis against the beer mugs his colleagues had been drinking from.<\/p>\n

Worried that someone had seen his disturbing party trick and that it had been caught on camera, the officer attempted to get ahead of the problem by admitting his sick joke.<\/p>\n

That confession blindsided the internal affairs officers assigned to the case. They now had two investigations on their files, both of which remain open.<\/p>\n

The officer who digitally penetrated his colleague without first asking for permission has been stood down from duties. He is at home on full pay while internal affairs finalises its inquiry.<\/p>\n

The man he violated is receiving counselling.<\/p>\n

The cop who wiped his penis on his colleagues\u2019 drinking glasses is still working, but only in a desk-bound role.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Western Australia Police Force has commenced a criminal and internal investigation into allegations of serious misconduct involving several officers from a metropolitan police district,\u201d a police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Hospital Parking Garage Mistakenly Charged A Woman Nearly $8,000 For A 45-Minute Visit<\/h3>\n

Parking in Los Angeles is a well-known hassle, but imagine being charged nearly $8,000 by an automated machine that wrongfully showed that you were parked there for three years. That’s what happened to Cate Daniels last Friday after a 45-minute visit to Glendale Memorial Hospital in LA County. The hospital parking structure’s automated machine charged Cate Daniels $7,829 after a visit that didn’t even last an hour. The receipt claimed that Daniels first parked in the structure in 2022, and when she tried correcting the issue, she said a parking attendant accused her of parking there for weeks and wouldn’t remedy the problem.<\/p>\n

Daniels was visiting Glendale Memorial Hospital last Friday for a cancer screening, which is unpleasant enough without an $8,000 parking charge. She told KCAL News, “Two different people have said things like this happen in that lot. Makes me think I’m not the only one this has happened to.”<\/p>\n

The parking company accepted fault, but it took a week and lots of hassle to receive a refund<\/h4>\n

Daniels reportedly tried reasoning with a parking attendant after she saw the charge on her receipt, and recorded the interaction where the attendant refused to accept her explanation of the issue. Since she didn’t receive the help that she needed to resolve the absurdly expensive charge, Daniels decided to reach out to news stations to publicize the issue.<\/p>\n

Once the news story ran on Tuesday night, someone at the hospital reached out and asked her to return so they could issue her a refund. A hospital spokesperson told KCAL News, “the error, stemming from a computer malfunction within the parking system, incorrectly charged the individual for an extended period. We immediately acknowledged the error and began the process of crediting the charge back.”<\/p>\n

The hospital apologized for the incident, and the parking contractor, Parking Company of America, acknowledges that the charge never should have taken place. The company also plans to replace the faulty parking machine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
