Man shoots suspect in self-defense in Buckhead, Atlanta police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man is in custody after a shooting in Buckhead on Thursday morning, according to Atlanta police.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened in the street on Lindbergh Way NE at Piedmont Road NE between 6 and 7 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police said a dispute between two men led to one of them shooting the other in self-defense.<\/p>\n

The suspect, who was shot, was \u201calert, conscious and breathing\u201d when officers arrived. He was taken to Grady Hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Charges are pending as the investigation continues.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
