As the CCG vessel approached the boat, it collided with a larger Chinese Navy destroyer that attempted to intervene by positioning itself between the Philippine ship and the coast guard cutter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CCG 3104 \u2026 performed a risky maneuver from the PCG vessel\u2019s starboard quarter, leading to the impact with the PLA Navy warship. This resulted in substantial damage to the CCG vessel\u2019s forecastle, rendering it unseaworthy,\u201d the spokesman wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Footage captured from aboard the Suluan documents the significant hull damage sustained by both Chinese vessels following the collision.<\/p>\n<p>After the crash, the PCG assisted with recovering overboard crew members and provided medical aid for injured CCG personnel, Tarriela said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Philippine Coast Guard reaffirms its dedication to safeguarding all maritime operations in the area and wishes for the swift recovery and proper treatment of any affected CCG personnel,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2025\/08\/11\/chinese-ships-crash-philippines-coast-guard-south-china-sea\/\">Daily Caller<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=K0i9RtfXlhA\">Chinese ships collide while pursuing Filipino boat in South China Sea<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dear PLAN, when harassing another country&#8217;s vessels at sea it&#8217;s best not to look like incompetent idiots.
