\u2018Stop running, bro\u2019: 3 teens, 1 armed with stolen gun, try to escape arrest, HCSO says<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nRIVERVIEW, Fla. (WFLA) \u2014 Three teens were taken into custody Monday after officials said they were seen openly carrying guns through a Riverview neighborhood.<\/p>\n

One of the guns, an AR-style pistol, had previously been reported stolen and was linked to a burglary case in Ruskin earlier this year, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies said they received a call about a group of teens causing a disturbance on the evening of Monday, Aug. 4.<\/p>\n

A helicopter crew spotted a car trying to leave the neighborhood, and three teens got out and started running after deputies stopped the vehicle, the sheriff\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n

Video provided by the sheriff\u2019s office showed the view from the helicopter as the teens took off running in-between homes in the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re going to be running back to the north,\u201d someone could be heard saying over the radio.<\/p>\n

Deputies gave chase, with one deputy\u2019s body camera showing him catching up to a teen in a gray hoodie.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop running, bro,\u201d the deputy shouted.<\/p>\n

The teen eventually dropped to the ground with his hands splayed out. The deputy then placed him in handcuffs, saying, \u201cBro, what are you doing?\u201d<\/p>\n

Another teen was spotted by the helicopter crew as he was walking in a wooded area behind the homes.<\/p>\n

\u201cLooks like he\u2019s got one shoe on. Left shoe missing,\u201d someone said over the radio. \u201cHe\u2019s hopping the fence now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s office said all three teens, ranging between 17 and 18 years old, were arrested on several charges. Deputies said they recovered a total of three firearms, including the stolen AR-style pistol.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
