Got a few updates for y’all today.<\/p>\n

First off, we have been reading of the allegations that service M17\/18 (SIG P320s) have a bad habit of going off by themselves. According to attorneys involved, they have compiled hundreds of cases in which with no one’s finger on the trigger, the gun goes bang. SIG, on the other hand, says there is no way this can happen and that other factors like user-error are responsible.<\/p>\n

The entire Air Force is doing a service-wide inspection of the M18 handgun after a Security Forces airman suddenly died last month, adding more scrutiny to Sig Sauer’s controversial product.\u00a0\u00a0Military.com<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is an escalation – before only the special operations command was doing inspections. One has to wonder what they are seeing; if all the spec-ops folks’ pistols had passed with flying colors, why inspect the entire branch’s arms?\u00a0 Me, I have never doubted SIG’s quality – but when the Gunsite Academy bars their use, I’m taking note.\u00a0\u00a0Shooting News Weekly<\/a><\/p>\n

You may remember Abdul Rahman Waziri, an Afghan who worked alongside US troops in the Afghan National Mine Reduction Group clearing mines, who was killed over a parking dispute in Houston months ago.Waziri<\/a><\/p>\n

When Abdul Rahman Waziri, 31, was shot while getting his mail at his Houston apartment complex on April 27, police knew who the alleged shooter was as the man had identified himself to officers at the scene, according to authorities. Katia Trevon Bougere, 31, told officers \u201che and Waziri were arguing over parking,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n

On June 17, police said the case would be referred to a grand jury. Bougere was indicted on Monday on a murder charge. Bougere was not arrested after his murder indictment but issued a summons to appear in court on Aug. 5.<\/p>\n

Abdullah Khan, Waziri\u2019s older brother, said he and his family were upset that months had passed without any developments in the case.<\/p>\n

A group of Green Berets who had worked with the National Mine Reduction Group had sent a letter in May to Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare asking for action in the case. A Change.org petition by the 1208 Foundation that asked for the alleged shooter to be charged has received more than 86,000 signatures. The foundation provides aid to Afghans who worked with U.S. Special Forces to clear explosives.\u00a0\u00a0Military.com II<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Obviously the DA has no special urgency placed on this case.\u00a0 \u00a0No arrest, just “show up if it’s convenient for ya.” Yep, a Soros prosecutor.<\/p>\n

And we know about the famous “racist”\u00a0 Sydney Sweeney ad – thebesig just covered it on the 30th Great genes.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Seems one of the ones getting upset over the ads is a New Jersey former-teacher-turned-influencer (does that translate to ‘failed teacher’?) who is SO TRAUMATIZED.<\/p>\n

If she is that upset, essentially because someone else is considered more attractive than she is…got some bad news. There is ALWAYS someone more attractive than someone else.<\/p>\n

Although, I do sympathize in one sense – I have a hard time seeing any beauty there too.<\/p>\n
