\nA shooting outside a bar in downtown Anchorage early Sunday ended with a man dead and three people wounded, including two security employees at the Gaslight Lounge.<\/p>\n

Police identified the man killed as 23-year-old Leroy Manogiamanu. They estimated there were roughly 100 people in the area when the shooting took place just before bar break.<\/p>\n

Police on Sunday said officers responding just before 3 a.m. to the 700 block of West Fourth Avenue found Manogiamanu dead, another person with life-threatening injuries, and another less seriously wounded. A fourth person was later found with an injury as well.<\/p>\n

Two doormen at the Gaslight were shot during the incident, and a female bar patron was grazed by a bullet fired by the shooter that pierced the front window, according to owner John Pattee.<\/p>\n

According to Pattee, one doorman was shot seven times and the other once in the hand, and both are expected to survive. The shooter was the only person killed, he said.<\/p>\n

Asked if Manogiamanu was the suspected shooter, police spokesman Chris Barraza said Monday that he could not confirm that information.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is still an active investigation, so there is information I cannot share or confirm as it may alter the case,\u201d Barraza said in a text message.<\/p>\n

The shooting occurred on a block that includes the Gaslight, other retail businesses and the police department\u2019s headquarters, an administrative building that police say is not staffed around the clock.<\/p>\n

Reports on social media described a chaotic scene Sunday morning with bystanders taking cover, followed by a massive police response and victims receiving medical treatment before being taken to the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3121 Isabella Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fatal shooting of a man at 3121 Isabella Street about 4 a.m. on Sunday (July 20) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.<\/p>\n

The identity of the deceased male, 24, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.<\/p>\n

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported:<\/p>\n

Officers responded to report of a shooting inside an apartment at the above address. The male was located with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.<\/p>\n

Further investigation and witness reports stated the deceased male forced himself into the residence through a window and began assaulting the male shooter. The shooter then pulled his gun and shot the male. A female witness stated the deceased male was her ex-boyfriend and identified the shooter as a friend.<\/p>\n

After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney\u2019s Office it was determined the shooting would be referred to the Harris County Grand Jury.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Suspect wanted for sex crimes shot dead while confronted by Pinal County Sheriff\u2019s deputies<\/strong><\/p>\n

PHOENIX \u2013 A suspect wanted in connection with sex crimes against children is dead after a shooting involving Pinal County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies on Friday.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened in the town of Winkelman, located south of Globe and east of Florence, authorities said.<\/p>\n

According to the Pinal County Sheriff\u2019s Office, deputies located the suspect around 9:59 p.m. near the intersection of Second Street and State Route 77.<\/p>\n

Deputies say the the 60-year-old man refused commands and took out a handgun.<\/p>\n

Deputies say he then chambered a round and took an offensive position toward deputies, which led to law enforcement firing at the suspect.<\/p>\n

An investigation is underway.<\/p>\n

The sergeant who fired at the suspect has been placed on paid administrative leave, the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Two shootings in one week
\nThis was the second officer-involved shooting by Pinal County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies in a week.<\/p>\n

The first happened on Thursday night in Queen Creek when a 46-year-old woman was shot after firing a gun at deputies following a crash.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
