Townsend Street in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects attempted to rob the victim at which time gunfire was exchanged between the suspects and the victim.<\/p>\n<p>One suspect, a 21-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries. The victim, a 20-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Milwaukee Police are seeking an additional unknown suspect.<\/p>\n<p>1 \/ 0 \/ 1<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmj4.com\/news\/milwaukee-county\/armed-robbery-leads-to-double-shooting-in-milwaukee\">TMJ 4<\/a><\/p>\n<p>One in the morgue and the other in the wind- nice shooting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Man shoots accused burglar in mother\u2019s home, Osceola deputies say<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Suspect ID\u2019d as Mitchell Platt, 37<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 A man arrested on the Fourth of July in Osceola County is accused of burglarizing a woman\u2019s house before being shot by the homeowner\u2019s son, according to the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. to the home along Deer Run Road, where the homeowner\u2019s son was holding the alleged burglar \u2014 Mitchell Platt, 37 \u2014 at gunpoint after shooting him in the leg.<\/p>\n<p>The homeowner\u2019s son had noticed a rear door was left open and armed himself with a revolver after then entering the home and reportedly hearing strange noises, the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>After the man called out to see if anyone else was in the home, Platt allegedly emerged from a hallway and charged toward him, prompting the man to fire a single shot into Platt\u2019s leg, the release states.<\/p>\n<p>The man who fired the shot was not injured, investigators said.<\/p>\n<p>Platt faces charges of burglary of an occupied dwelling and possession of burglary tools, records show.
