Davidson quickly posted the photos to the community Facebook page before her plane took off and when she landed, she discovered Cape had actually identified herself by admitting to the crime on social media.

In her post Cape wrote, “People need to mind their own business. This woman called me trash just because I broke in her house and stole some stuff. She don’t even know me.”

Davidson said her trip lasted three weeks, and she’s unsure how long Cape had been inside her home or if she was the only one.

“I wanted to throw up. I wanted to be sick, It’s pretty bad. I think they’ve been in there probably the whole time I was gone in and out just taking stuff, ransacked. It’s hard to tell what’s gone and what’s there cause it’s just such a mess,” Davidson said.

Davidson also said the community has been helping her through this difficult time.

“I don’t know how I’d feel if I didn’t have the support, because you really do feel violated. You know, when people go and dig through your property and steal from your kids it’s hard,” Davidson said.

Cape, who also goes by the name Misty Criddle, is wanted for theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000.

Anyone with information that could lead to her arrest is encouraged to submit a tip anonymously through Wichita Falls Area Crime Stoppers.

Source; News Channel 6 Now

Middle school teacher allegedly gave students alcoholic drinks for end-of-year treat

A middle school teacher allegedly unknowingly handed out alcoholic beverages to students for an end-of-year treat.

WOAIreported that the special education teacher had brought seven cans of Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast and gave them to five students across three different classes as part of a last day of school celebration. The teacher apparently didn’t know the drink had a 5% alcohol content.

One of the students who was allegedly given the alcoholic drink was a 7th grader with asthma, according to KEN 5. That student reportedly became drowsy and confused after having the drink, and their father, Aaron Corso, said he wasn’t told about the situation until hours after the incident happened.

“We couldn’t believe it. We were like, ‘What the hell,’” Corso told KENS 5. “I asked, ‘What time did this start?’ They said between 10:30 and 11. That was really confusing to me—why wait so long to call?”

Corso said the combination of the drink and cough medicine his son had taken earlier in the day had contributed to his kid’s symptoms. Corso also said he tried to file a police report but was told the incident was being handled internally by the school district.

“If I ended up going to the school and gave booze to minors on school property, I would be locked up,” Corso said. “Our kids can’t bring cupcakes from HEB for birthday parties. Six others were also arrested in the scheme.

“Florida’s Sheriffs are on the front lines of our state’s fight against illegal immigration, and Sheriff Ford is rooting out the corruption they bring into our state,” said Attorney General James Uthmeier on Thursday. “My warning to any illegal alien coming to Florida to commit further crimes: we are going to find you, hold you accountable, and then send you back to where you came from.”

The scheme came to light when Secretary of State officials began noticing that the two DMV employees had been issuing an uncommonly large number of road tests.

According to the South Florida Reporter:

Chuck Purdue, Bay County’s tax collector, said his office first noticed indications of the fraud in April, when he saw one of the employees had conducted 295 road exams in one month — the average is 20 to 25.

After an investigation was launched, surveillance footage showed a number of individuals seeking out the two employees.

Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford told reporters the illegal driver’s licenses included commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs).

“Let me be clear, that putting untested, unqualified drivers, especially those with commercial licenses on our roads is an unacceptable risk to every family in this state,” the sheriff said.

Trucking publication Overdrive reported:

Florida does issue non-domiciled CDLs, or CDLs to non-citizens or U.S. citizens who live in other states. Jue allegedly left the scene and waited two weeks before reporting the crash, the DA said.

However, Jue allegedly said he was the victim of an unknown hit-and-run in a parking lot in the report, the DA said.

He allegedly filed another report the next day, apologizing and saying he was the one who hit a car and left the scene without leaving any information, the DA said.

He posted the $7,500 bail on the same day he was booked into jail, and he is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26.
