I guess Senate Minority<\/A> Leader Harry Reid knows corruption when he sees it. The Washington Times is reporting that Reid<\/a> is now reimbursing his campaign for personal expenditures he’s made over\u00c2\u00a0the years – expenditures like paying bonuses to his personal staff at his Ritz-Carlton condo in downtown DC. Couple that with yesterday’s news that he’s decided to amend his ethic reports<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0after being busted on it by AP (of all people) and hanging up on them during an interview.<\/p>\n

I guess it’s not corruption if you give the money back and refile originally\u00c2\u00a0false reports\u00c2\u00a0when you’re caught being deceitful.\u00c2\u00a0Now Dingy Harry\u00c2\u00a0Reid releases a statement blaming Republicans for his own misdeeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In related news, the Washington Times is also reporting today about Robert Menendez<\/a>, New Jersey Democrat who is apparently under Federal investigation for a rental deal with a non-profit organization\u00c2\u00a0which receives Federal funds guided by Menendez.<\/p>\n

Let’s talk about Nancy Pelosi securing Federal Transit Authority grants for donors to her PAC<\/a>. Or John Murtha who has pushed $95 million in contracts to PMA Group<\/a> which employs his brother Kit and a former staffer. Or William Jefferson, the famous Democrat Congressman<\/a> from Louisiana who just happened to keep $90,000 in his refridgerator. And no recitation of Democrat corruption would be complete without mentioning silly old Sandy Berger and his smuggling of National Security Archives documents<\/a> that accidently got stuck in his pants and his socks.<\/p>\n

Yup, there’s a culture of corruption alright. And Democrats are just as guilty, if not more guilty,\u00c2\u00a0as everyone else. But then they’ve been doing it longer than the rest, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
