Woman shoots, kills husband after claiming he broke into her home in Northeast Philadelphia<\/strong><\/p>\n

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Northeast Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on the 4400 block of Cottman Avenue.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, officers were met by a woman who stated that her 38-year-old husband, who had left the home a week prior, had returned and forcibly entered the home by kicking in both the front and back doors.<\/p>\n

According to police, the woman says that once her husband was inside he began threatening her.<\/p>\n

The woman then retrieved her handgun and fired, striking him in the upper right shoulder.<\/p>\n

He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

SAN ANTONIO \u2013 One person is dead and another injured after a Northwest Side shooting, according to the San Antonio Police Department.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Fredericksburg Road. Police said a man in his early 30s attempted to rob a 32-year-old man while armed.<\/p>\n

During the attempted robbery, the suspect fired at the 32-year-old man, striking him multiple times, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim returned fire with his own firearm, striking the suspect, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspect fled the scene in a white Ford Fusion, police said, but crashed into another person\u2019s vehicle before crashing into a house near Babcock Road and Leming Drive, police said.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. on Saturday in the 3300 block of Fredericksburg Road.<\/p>\n

The suspect was pronounced dead at the crash scene, police said. He has not been identified as of Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said. No other injuries were reported.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
