I mentioned yesterday that Charles Schumer (Sen. D, NY) was putting a hold on all Department of Justice nominees while he investigates the gift of a 747 to the US by Qatar.<\/p>\n

“Until the American people learn the truth about this deal, I will do my part to block the galling and truly breathtaking politicization at the Department of Justice,” Schumer plans to say.\u00a0 NewsMax<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Because nothing says airplane-related like the Department of – Justice? Or is the DOJ a huge consumer of 747s? It’s so hard to track…<\/p>\n

And then there is David Hogg, our favorite ex-high-schooler. We mentioned a week or so back that he wants to spend twenty million buckarinos on attacking and unseating – Democrats?<\/p>\n

A Democratic National Committee panel voted to void its election of David Hogg as vice chair of the Democratic Party on Monday.<\/p>\n

The initial vote comes after mounting internal criticism of Hogg, though party officials say the vote was based on a procedural challenge made in February claiming Hogg and another official were improperly elected. The DNC will vote later this year on whether to remove Hogg.\u00a0 Fox News<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, procedural grounds. Should be a quiz – if you irritate the older, most powerful folks in your political party will your job remain unscathed? Possible answers: No, Hell No, and Only a dumbass would do that – No.<\/p>\n

And my personal favorite – I’m gonna take a guess that the women of the The View are probably not all that religious. Not something I really know about or have seen any tangible evidence to support (I refuse to watch it, like most) but in general the far left tend to dilute their religion with liberalisms like abortion, gay rights, trannies, etc.<\/p>\n

But as you may have noticed, we recently lost the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis. He was pretty much adored by the left as a liberal Jesuit, and the inbound Poe Leo XIV has occasionally not been terribly supportive of the LGBTQWERTY folks.\u00a0 Apostasy! Sin! Heresy! Not against the Church, maybe , but against the liberal canon that All Queers Are Good –\u00a0 definitely suspect, and possibly ready for a rainbow Inquisition.\u00a0 Enter Sonny Hostin\u00a0 of The View:<\/p>\n

After Pope Leo was announced on Thursday, Hostin said she was “concerned” about the LGBTQ community based on a statement he made in 2012 as a bishop where he described how pop culture had fostered “sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the gospel,” including the “homosexual lifestyle” and “alternative families comprised of same-sex partners and their adopted children.”<\/p>\n

Hostin had previously expressed concerns about the new pontiff on Friday after his comments referencing the “homosexual lifestyle” resurfaced. On Monday, she spoke more optimistically about Pope Leo after learning his maternal grandparents were described as “people of color” on documents, with his grandfather\u2019s original birthplace listed as Haiti.<\/p>\n

“As it turns out, our new American pope has Haitian and Black roots! So, we actually have a Black pope, apparently. It’s a chef’s kiss for me.”<\/p>\n

“And it’s good to have a Black pope,” Hostin chimed in.<\/p>\n

She again touted that he is a “Black pope” when other co-hosts shared their excitement about Pope Leo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Has she LOOKED at him?<\/p>\n

Lady, (and I use the term advisedly) he’s somewhat paler than Gary Busey… only way he is a Black Pope is if you use the negative of his photo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
