Cleveland strip club security guard fires shot while being attacked, woman injured<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A security guard at a downtown strip club fired a shot while being physically assaulted by a group of people as the club was closing.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. at Power Cabaret in the 1400 block of St. Clair Ave.<\/p>\n

According to Cleveland Police, about seven to eight people attacked the guard and he fired one shot, which prompted the group to flee.<\/p>\n

Shortly afterwards, a 34-year-old woman arrived at MetroHealth Medical Center.<\/p>\n

Police said the woman was not shot, but had been injured while trying to flee or seek cover.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Suspect killed in attempted robbery in Henrico, Crime Insider sources tell Jon Burkett<\/strong><\/p>\n

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. \u2014A man died after a shooting early Saturday morning in Henrico County’s East End, Crime Insider sources told Jon Burkett<\/p>\n

The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Fairfield Avenue.<\/p>\n

Those sources told Burkett that detectives believe the shooting happened during an attempted robbery.<\/p>\n

The man, identified as a suspect in the robbery, was shot during an exchange of gunfire, according to sources.<\/p>\n

He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

No charges have been filed in connection with the incident.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
