Really?) the classic six-Marines-raising-the-flag-photo is deleted from the Pentagon&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>John Ullyot, a Pentagon spokesman, has refused to backtrack, and praised his staff for their \u201crapid compliance\u201d with the directive.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is the same clown who got benched last week when when Army vet Jackie Robinson&#8217;s info was removed. He&#8217;s still with us.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In a statement after the article\u2019s removal, which was shared with The Daily Beast, Ullyot referred to DEI\u2014which stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion\u2014as \u201cDiscriminatory Equity Ideology.\u201d\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/us\/pentagon-spokesman-benched-after-jackie-robinson-page-outcry\/ar-AA1BobV7\">Daily Beast<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Jackie Robinson and Ira Hayes. Rapid compliance, my ass. Now&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday he did not warn car industry executives against raising prices as tariffs on foreign-made autos come into force, telling NBC News he &#8220;couldn&#8217;t care less&#8221; if they do.<\/p>\n<p>In the NBC News interview, Trump said his permanent tariffs on foreign-made automobiles would be a boost to U.S.-domiciled factories and was confident the move would lead to increased sales of American-made cars. &#8220;I hope they raise their prices, because if they do, people are gonna buy American-made cars,&#8221; Trump said.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/finance\/news\/trump-tells-nbc-couldnt-care-000557162.html\">Reuters<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Obviously a man who has zero understanding of how many automobile components are sourced world-wide&#8230;here&#8217;s one you can bet on: American car prices are going to go up almost as much as foreign car prices due to all the parts made overseas which cannot be sourced in the US at competitive prices. And it will NOT be a temporary increase until we are using 100% US sourced parts at which point a Caddy will cost $20 grand. Sorry to bust someone&#8217;s bubble. Oh, and it&#8217;s nice to see the President who campaigned on &#8220;we&#8217;re gonna drive prices down&#8221; saying he couldn&#8217;t care less if they don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-166458 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Donald-Trump-as-Goku-300x202.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Donald-Trump-as-Goku-300x202.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Donald-Trump-as-Goku-493x333.jpeg 493w, https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Donald-Trump-as-Goku-768x518.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Donald-Trump-as-Goku.jpeg 984w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ah, and Trump is floating the idea &#8211; again &#8211; of a third term, despite the 22nd Amendment. Apparently he thinks that he could run as Vance&#8217;s VP in 2028, they could get elected, and shortly thereafter Vance could hand the Presidency over.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">When asked whether he really wanted another term, the president responded: \u201cI like working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI\u2019m not joking,\u201d Trump said when asked to clarify by Welker (Kristin Welker, &#8220;Meet the Press&#8221; &#8211; ed), who even began her line of questioning with the assumption that he was. \u201cBut I\u2019m not \u2014 it is far too early to think about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Welker asked about a possible scenario in which Vice President JD Vance ran for the presidency with Trump as his running mate and then passed the role over to him. The president responded, \u201cThat\u2019s one\u201d method, adding: \u201cBut there are others too.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Get elected and hand it over&#8230;right. I won&#8217;t say who, but<em> someone&#8217;s<\/em> been drinking his own bathwater. Here&#8217;s an excerpt from the 22nd:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"max-md:faux-bleed mb-4 bg-marshmallow pb-5 dark:bg-ramones md:invisible md:mb-0 md:h-0 md:overflow-hidden md:pb-0\">\n<div class=\"py-2 text-center text-xs uppercase\">\u201cNo person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"max-md:faux-bleed mb-4 bg-marshmallow pb-5 dark:bg-ramones md:invisible md:mb-0 md:h-0 md:overflow-hidden md:pb-0\">\n<div>And then there&#8217;s that 12th Amendment &#8216;gotcha&#8217; &#8211; \u201cno person constitutionally ineligible to the office of president shall be eligible to that of vice-president of the United States.\u201d\u00a0 That is popularly interpreted to mean if you are ineligible to be elected President, you can&#8217;t be vice president, either.\u00a0 But it really does not address it<em> specifically.<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Alternatively he could try getting another Constitutional Amendment passed.
