Wapato brothers held in connection with drive-by shooting in Parker<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA pair of Wapato brothers are accused of shooting at a Parker man\u2019s home Tuesday morning, with one of them wounded in the process.<\/p>\n

Sheriff\u2019s deputies were called to the 200 block of Main Street in Parker around 12 a.m. They were told that shots were fired, people were heard screaming and a car was speeding away from the area, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Yakima County Superior Court.<\/p>\n

A 57-year-old man at the scene said he was getting into his vehicle when a white car pulled up with two young men in it, the affidavit said. One of the men in the car said they were there \u201cto serve a hit.\u201d After saying something to them, the man went back to the house to tell the man who lived there what had happened.<\/p>\n

The 59-year-old resident armed himself with a .40-caliber pistol and went outside as the white car turned around, turned off its lights and sped toward the house, the affidavit said. When someone in the car fired at his house, the resident shot back.<\/p>\n

Deputies found several 9-millimeter shell casings in the street, as well as four bullet holes in the man\u2019s house, the affidavit said.<\/p>\n

While deputies were at the scene, they were told that two men had just arrived at Astria Toppenish Hospital, one of them with a gunshot wound to his right thigh. At the hospital, deputies saw a white Nisan Altima that had a bullet hole in the center of the passenger door, two 9 mm shell casings by the base of the windshield and one shell casing at the base of the rear window.<\/p>\n

Deputies took both men into custody on suspicion of first-degree assault and drive-by shooting. The 20-year-old passenger, who had the gunshot wound, was booked into the Yakima County jail while his 17-year-old brother, who deputies said was driving, was taken to the Yakima County Juvenile Justice Center.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA 23-year-old was fatally shot Wednesday morning after pointing a fake gun at another person, prompting them to open fire, Milwaukee police said.<\/p>\n

The shooting occurred around 8:45 a.m. on Hope Avenue, near 81st Street, in the Arlington Gardens neighborhood. A WISN 12 News photojournalist saw police gathered in the parking lot of the Covenant Lutheran Church.<\/p>\n

According to police, the 23-year-old pointed what was later determined to be a replica firearm at a 24-year-old man.<\/p>\n

In response, the man produced a real firearm and fired, killing the victim.<\/p>\n

Police arrested the 24-year-old man and said the investigation is fluid and ongoing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
