Man shot after trying to rob someone in McDonald’s bathroom, Greensboro police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nGreensboro police said they were called to a shooting last night near the McDonald’s on Gate City Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Police responded to the area around 8:30 on Tuesday, Dec. 3.<\/p>\n

Officers arrived and found 29-year-old Aaquan Butler suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators said Butler tried to rob another person in the restaurant’s bathroom.<\/p>\n

Police said a struggle ensued and ended up in the dining room area, where Butler pulled a handgun and it went off.<\/p>\n

Butler was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. He is facing many charges including robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.<\/p>\n

Heaven Ashanti White, 22, was charged with felony conspiracy, aid, and abet robbery amongst a list of other charges.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Driver ran over two gunmen with vehicle in self-defense, SAPD says<\/strong>
\nTwo men face aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges<\/em><\/p>\n

SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A driver ran over two gunmen in self-defense after a confrontation on the East Side, according to San Antonio police.<\/p>\n

The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Sterling Street.<\/p>\n

Two men, who were riding bikes, had attempted to steal a motorcycle from a house down the street, police said.<\/p>\n

According to SAPD, the men eventually came across a driver as they were leaving and pointed guns in his direction.<\/p>\n

The driver of the vehicle did not have any affiliation with the house where the attempted robbery happened, police said.<\/p>\n

SAPD said the driver of the vehicle ran over the men who pointed guns in his direction.<\/p>\n

The driver of the vehicle managed to disarm the two men after running them over, police said.<\/p>\n

Afterward, one of the men tried to flee the scene but was later taken into custody.<\/p>\n

Two guns were recovered from the scene.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival at the scene, police said that officers detained several family members of the gunmen.<\/p>\n

Police said the two men face aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.<\/p>\n

The driver of the vehicle does not face any charges since he acted in self-defense, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
