(WSVN) &#8211; A man was shot and killed following an altercation at a gas station in Pompano Beach.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred at the Race Trac located at 599 West Atlantic Boulevard around 5 p.m., Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Pompano Beach Fire Rescue crews located 37-year-old Brian Semil suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Broward Health North where he was pronounced deceased.<\/p>\n<p>According to Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office, Semil tried to forcibly enter a vehicle that was occupied by a mother and her children. Three males intervened and prevented Semil from entering the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>At some point during this altercation, one of the three individuals discharged his weapon, striking Semil.<\/p>\n<p>All three men and additional witnesses remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wsvn.com\/news\/local\/broward\/bso-man-fatally-shot-at-gas-station-in-pompano-beach-1-taken-into-custody\/\">WSVN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Citizens standing up- well done. That Mr. Semil is no stranger to law enforcement surprises no one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gun-wielding suspect gets beaten up by employees at pizzeria he tried to rob: police<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Andrea Margolis<br \/>\nPizzeria employees in Texas took justice into their own hands when a man tried to rob their restaurant last week.<\/p>\n<p>Suspect Richard Curtis, 19, was charged with aggravated robbery, according to FOX 7 Austin. He allegedly walked into a Marco&#8217;s Pizza location in Austin at around 7 p.m. on Thursday and approached an employee.<\/p>\n<p>FOX 7 reported that Curtis slipped the worker a note reading, &#8220;Don&#8217;t say s\u2014t, empty the drawer.&#8221; He then showed the employee a gun in his waistband, according to an affidavit.<\/p>\n<p>The quick-thinking employee grabbed the suspect and put him in a chokehold while his co-worker called police.<\/p>\n<p>While the employee and Curtis were fighting, the manager of Marco&#8217;s Pizza lifted Curtis&#8217; gun from his waistband, according to FOX 7.<\/p>\n<p>The manager allegedly tried shooting Curtis, but the gun didn&#8217;t fire.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing that the gun wasn&#8217;t working, the manager then pummeled Curtis with the handle of the gun.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>0 \/ 1 \/ 0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/news\/gun-wielding-suspect-gets-beaten-015918805.html\">Yahoo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wrong pizzeria, and during the dinner rush?
