Dallas shooting: Victim shoots attacker in Far East Dallas<\/strong><\/p>\n

DALLAS – Dallas police say a victim shot their attacker early Saturday morning in Far East Dallas.<\/p>\n

Police were called to a home on Tres Logos Lane for a shooting around 12:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Investigators say the suspect was hitting the victim. The victim then grabbed a gun and shot the suspect.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Henderson Police Investigate Shooting Incident<\/strong><\/p>\n

On September 21st, 2024, at approximately 3:57 a.m., the Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to the 1000 block of Wellness Place in reference to a reported shooting.<\/p>\n

Multiple 9-1-1 calls were received advising gunshots were heard and a male subject was observed lying on the ground.<\/p>\n

Preliminarily, detectives determined a 33-year-old male was approached by an unknown male with a firearm in his hand in a confrontational manner and demanded his cellphone and wallet. The 33-year-old male discharged multiple rounds from his firearm and struck the unknown male, due to him fearing for his life.<\/p>\n

Officers and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures; however, the male succumbed to his injuries at the scene.<\/p>\n

There were no other injuries reported other than to the decedent.<\/p>\n

The male who initially discharged his firearm remained on scene and is cooperative with the investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
