Man shot in his face near Shops at Rivercenter, San Antonio police say<\/strong>

SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A man believed to have burglarizing a vehicle was shot in the face at a downtown parking lot Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

According to a San Antonio police preliminary report, a family was leaving the Shops at Rivercenter around 5 p.m. when they encountered two people burglarizing their vehicle.<\/p>\n

The suspects pointed guns at the family, and a man and his son opened fire on them, police said.<\/p>\n

According to police at the scene, one of the suspects, a 35-year-old man, was shot in the face. The other suspect, a woman, was also hit. Both of the suspects were dropped off at a nearby hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Police said between eight to 10 gunshots were fired. They believe only one weapon was used.<\/p>\n

The woman was arrested for outstanding warrants.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Man shot, killed during bizarre home invasion attempt in rural Missouri<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nDEARBORN, Mo. (KCTV) – An unknown man was shot and killed when he attempted to force his way into a rural Missouri home after he prayed to a horse and attacked a dog.<\/p>\n

The Platte County, Missouri, Sheriff\u2019s Office says that around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, emergency crews were called to the 15000 block of Masonic Dr. in Dearborn with reports of a suspicious individual.<\/p>\n

The homeowner reported a partially clothed man had arrived at their home and began to pray to a horse before he attacked their dog. When he attempted to force his way into the home, the homeowner then shot him.<\/p>\n

When law enforcement officials arrived, they said they found the suspicious man dead at the entrance of the home. He has been described as a white man in his 30s or 40s.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
