Poplar Bluff police: Man found in fenced yard, shot by homeowner after becoming \u2018aggressive\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nPOPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) – Police say a southeast Missouri homeowner found a man in his yard and shot him in the leg after he allegedly became aggressive.<\/p>\n

According to a news release from the Poplar Bluff Police Department, they responded to a home in the 2000 block of Mangold Street around 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28 for a reported shooting.<\/p>\n

Officers talked to the homeowner who showed them where a man was in the backyard of the home with a gunshot wound to the leg.<\/p>\n

They identified the man as a 46-year-old Poplar Bluff man.<\/p>\n

Police say the man was in the fenced-in backyard when the homeowner found him.<\/p>\n

When he was confronted by the homeowner, he allegedly became aggressive and approached the homeowner.<\/p>\n

The homeowner, who was armed, shot the man one time and then called 911.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA homeowner in Los Angeles\u2019 San Fernando Valley stabbed a suspect in his mid-20s who broke into his home in the middle of the night this week, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed to Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n

After the suspect rammed his way through the front door just after 4 a.m. in the Winnetka neighborhood, he was confronted first by the homeowner\u2019s daughter. Then he got into a fight with the homeowner, who stabbed the intruder in the stomach, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspect, who collapsed not far from the house, was found by police soon after leaving a trail of blood from the house.<\/p>\n

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was arrested and taken to a hospital, where he is in stable condition, police told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n

A neighbor told police the suspect also tried to break into her home, FOX 11 reported.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Authorities in the Pee Dee say a suspect was fatally shot by a homeowner Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The Florence County Sheriff\u2019s Office said the incident happened on Rodman Road, near Lake City.<\/p>\n

According to the sheriff\u2019s office, responding deputies found the suspect had been shot by the homeowner at the scene and later died at a hospital.<\/p>\n
