The person calling identified as an FBI field agent and left the number, so our ninja looked up the number out of due diligence. It was confirmed to be an FBI field office, so our ninja returned the call.<\/p>\n 2) The string “Timothy Walz”<\/strong> Seemed to have triggered a series of questions as to justification, reminding said ninja of the policy regarding the “stalking” and “harassment” of celebrities and politicians. We try to be nonpartisan, and the name “James David Nance” was also searched, although Vance was born “Bowman” and served in the USMC under “Hamel.” The audit claimed it was random, but the search for “Vance” did not seem to trigger it. They specifically said that the reason for the audit was because of the search on “Timothy Walz.”<\/p>\n The rationale provided to the P.I. database company was that we often work with news agencies\u2014local and national\u2014on military service claims and obtaining records.
