Suspect identified in shooting, stabbing at Las Vegas valley casino<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nLAS VEGAS (KLAS) \u2014 A man faces several charges after a stabbing led to a shooting at a west Las Vegas valley casino, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.<\/p>\n

Around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 3, Las Vegas Metropolitan police responded to Red Rock Resort and Casino in the 11000 block of Charleston Boulevard after a report that two individuals had been stabbed and one had been shot, police said.<\/p>\n

According to 8 News Now Investigators sources, the suspect stabbed two individuals inside the casino, prompting a security guard to shoot him.<\/p>\n

All three people were taken to a nearby hospital, with two of them in critical condition, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police investigate overnight deaths in southeast Albuquerque<\/strong>

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. \u2014 Homicide detectives are investigating multiple deaths that police say happened overnight in southeast Albuquerque.<\/p>\n

The first shooting happened around 11 p.m. Sunday in the area of Pennsylvania and Central. Police say three people were found dead in a home.<\/p>\n

APD says this appears to be a murder suicide, with a 22 year old shooting and killing his siblings.<\/p>\n

No word on what led up to the shooting.<\/p>\n

Officers were then dispatched at 4:17 a.m. to reports of a shooting at a home in the 500 block of Ortiz Drive, near San Mateo and Zuni. When they arrived, they found a person with gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

Police say an elderly man in a wheelchair shot someone breaking into his home.<\/p>\n

On Monday morning, police were still investigating and had the street taped off. Officers set up a barrier near a man\u2019s body, and KOB 4 crews saw a wheelchair and backpack in the street.<\/p>\n

Police say the intruder had a knife when he was breaking into the home, and that\u2019s when the homeowner shot him. The suspect died in the road after stumbling away.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
