(WKRG) \u2014 Deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff\u2019s Office have arrested a man and woman after a drug deal ended with one person dead on Tuesday, July 2.<\/p>\n<p>According to an ECSO Facebook post, deputies were called to the 100 block of Swallowtail Lane for a report of shots fired.<\/p>\n<p>When they arrived, deputies found 26-year-old De\u2019Andre English with a gunshot wound, and he was later pronounced dead by EMS, according to officials.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation revealed that English, 24-year-old Demetrius Caesar, and 22-year-old Meliyah Gordon had allegedly gone to meet Issac Mitchell to buy marijuana from him.<\/p>\n<p>Demetrius Caesar and Meliyah Gordon mug shot, placed on a blue background with the WKRG.com logo<\/p>\n<p>When the three people arrived, Mitchell got into the vehicle, and during the sale, English allegedly pulled a gun on Mitchell to try and rob him.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said there was a fight over the gun, which led to English being shot and killed. Gordon and Caesar then fled the scene, according to the post.<\/p>\n<p>Caesar and Gordon were later found and charged with felony murder \u2014 a death occurring during the commission of a felony.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the shooting, Caesar was on probation for a previous felony murder that happened in 2018, according to the post.<\/p>\n<p>Mitchell was not charged because \u201che appears to have acted in self-defense while being robbed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drug charges against Mitchell are pending.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>1 \/ 2 \/ 0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkrg.com\/northwest-florida\/escambia-county\/2-charged-with-homicide-after-drug-deal-gone-wrong-escambia-county-sheriffs-office\/\">WKRG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Stupid is strong and everyone goes to jail. Thanks, Gun Bunny.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018Merica: Grocery Stores Selling Ammunition Out of Vending Machines in Alabama and Oklahoma<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>AWR HAWKINS<br \/>\nSome grocery stores in Alabama and Oklahoma now have American Rounds vending machines which allow customers to buy ammo for their guns while getting a cart full of groceries for their families.<\/p>\n<p>Cleveland.com reported on the vending machines, noting they are currently in six locations and \u201c[use] artificial intelligence technology to verify a buyer\u2019s identification and age through card scanning and facial recognition software.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the locations is a Fresh Value store in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.<\/p>\n<p>Terry Stanley, COO of the Fresh Value, said, \u201cWe\u2019re always looking for ways to give our customers another reason to come visit our stores.
