Rock Hill Woman Killed, Girlfriend Charged With Murder In Self-Defense Shooting<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nROCK HILL, S.C. \u2013 A Rock Hill woman is dead and her girlfriend was charged with murder following an altercation with a co-worker who shot and killed her in self-defense, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.<\/p>\n

It happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday at Riverwalk Parkway near Cel-River Road.<\/p>\n

The shooting stems from an altercation between 39-year-old Samarian Lindsay and her co-worker, according to police. Lindsay got into her girlfriend\u2019s car while the male co-worker got in his car and started driving away.<\/p>\n

Brittney Reed, 32, allegedly drove in front of the man\u2019s vehicle to block him while he was stuck in traffic. Police said Reed knew blocking his car would likely lead to a felony act that could result in somebody\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Lindsay got out of Reed\u2019s car and approached the man\u2019s vehicle from the passenger side and presented a firearm. Police said the man grabbed his own firearm and fired it at Lindsay, hitting her multiple times in the chest.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
