Seems the administration is nominating a judge that not even many Democrats want.<\/p>\n
Biden nominated Netburn (Judge Sarah Netburn – ed.)\u00a0 to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, one of the most prestigious and busiest federal courts in the country.<\/p>\n
During remarks on the Senate floor Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said the Judiciary Committee “has received almost a hundred letters \u2013 from liberals \u2013 opposing Judge Netburn\u2019s activism.”<\/p>\n
Netburn ordered the transfer of inmate July Justine Shelby, who was imprisoned under the name William McClain, to a women’s prison, against the recommendation of Bureau of Prisons officials.<\/p>\n
While grilling Netburn before the House Judiciary Committee last month, Kennedy noted that Shelby, who was incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, had been convicted for molesting a nine-year-boy and raping a 17-year-old girl, as well as sending child porn<\/u> to other sex offenders.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
But it’s okay – he’s became a she and said “hey, babe, want to walk on the wild side”.<\/p>\n
“I issued a report and recommendation to the district judge recommending that the district judge transfer the petitioner to a women’s facility,” Netburn said at the hearing. “My recommendation was that the petitioner’s serious medical needs were being denied by keeping her in a men’s facility.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Bureau of Prisons disagreed. too. Ted Cruz asked:<\/p>\n
whether the other women incarcerated had a right not to have a six-foot-two “serial child rapist with male genitalia” put in as their cellmate.<\/p>\n
At her nomination hearing, Netburn was repeatedly questioned over her 2022 recommendation that Shelby “be immediately transferred to a women\u2019s facility” over the objections of the Bureau of Prisons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The kicker to me is that like so many in the Biden administration, she doesn’t know what a he or she IS.<\/p>\n
Ranking member Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., asked, “<\/strong>In your Report & Recommendation, you open your \u2018Factual Background\u2019 section by stating: \u2018At birth, people are typically assigned a gender.\u2019 \u2026 Is it possible to determine a person\u2019s sex by only analyzing their chromosomes?”<\/p>\n
Netburn responded, “I have never studied biology, and therefore I am unqualified to answer this question.”Fox News<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Whattya bet they put her on a road trip with a male judge and put them in the same hotel room she would know which is which\u00a0 – in a hurry.<\/p>\n
